Can I hold trades overnight or over the weekend with ThinkCapital?
ThinkCapital lets you hold trades overnight on every account. Weekend holding is available on Lightning, Nexus and Dual Step Swing accounts. Bolt and Bolt Flex accounts need the Weekend Holding add-on. Without it, any position on these plans still open at Friday 21:00 UTC breaches the account. On Dual Step Intraday, ThinkCapital closes open positions automatically at Friday 21:00 UTC, and the account continues.
Overnight holding: permitted on all account types, in both the challenge and funded stages. Swaps apply.
Weekend holding permitted: Lightning, Nexus and Dual Step Swing (challenge and funded), and Bolt and Bolt Flex accounts purchased with the Weekend Holding add-on.
Bolt and Bolt Flex without the add-on: close all trades before Friday 21:00 UTC. An account that still has open positions at that time is breached and terminated.
Dual Step Intraday (challenge and funded): any position still open at Friday 21:00 UTC is closed automatically at market, in profit or in loss. The account is not terminated and no profit is forfeited.
