Do I need a stop loss on ThinkCapital accounts?
ThinkCapital does not require a stop loss on every trade, but trading without one can become a violation. Putting a large share of your balance on one trade without a stop loss is an all-in strategy. ThinkCapital treats all-in strategies as a prohibited gambling practice. Using a stop loss on every trade is the simplest way to stay within the rules.
All-in strategies and other gambling practices follow the consequences set out in the gambling guidelines: a formal warning first, then an account reset or final warning, and a ban after two resets.
